Wonderful Cobbin Farm Chapel

When I met Leanne & Darren in late 2012 I knew instantly they were going to be a fun and relaxed couple to work with.  They simply wanted their wedding day to be an occasion where they could celebrate their love with family & friends.

In the lead up to Leanne & Darren’s March 2013 wedding we caught up a few times to chat about their plans for the big day, it was always lovely to catch up and get to know them a little better.  I felt so included in all their planning and was happy to offer any advice I could in terms of the many elements and logistics that go into planning a beautiful wedding day.

I was delighted to discover they had chosen a gorgeous local chapel as the location for their wedding ceremony and on the 2nd March 2013 I arrived at the lovely Cobbin Farm Chapel in Grovedale.  I was excited to see the beautiful red carpet and rose petals scattered down the centre aisle of the chapel.   Leanne entered the chapel accompanied by her father to the song ‘Marry Me’ by Train and the smiles on both Darren & Leanne’s faces as they saw each other set the tone for a ceremony which was filled with laughter and a lot love.

There was slight hiccup as Darren tried to light a unity candle representing all the important people that could not be present, after few matches and some assistance from his Best Man, Tim, Darren finally succeeded in getting the candle to stay alight!  Leanne & Darren had written their own personal vows to share with each other and whilst the moment was very emotional they still managed to share a laugh, much to the delight of their guests.

As you will see from the stunning photos shot by the very talented Leanne Churchill http://www.leannechurchillphotography.com Leanne & Darren’s wedding was a special day.  True love and friendship provide the essentials for a happy life and I just know Leanne & Darren will have a wonderful life together.
